Bio

I am a clinical psychologist by training and have worked across a range of public and private settings with people of all ages and various psychological difficulties. I always try to put kindness, connection and evidence-based practice at the heart of what I do.
My main areas of interest are family therapy, multi-family therapy, formulation, adolescent development, gender, eating disorders, self-harm and suicidal behaviours, and emotional overcontrol.
I regularly publish and provide international consultation, teaching, and supervision in these areas. I most like working with teams on service development and transformation.
In addition to private consultations, I work in the UK National Health Service (NHS) as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. I hold an academic role as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London. I am also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Senior Certified Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO DBT) Clinician.
